windswept and interesting

Hiya. Just a brief note to say that for a wet weekend, I'm quite enjoying myself. It's been a bit wild and woolly down here (there's an oil tanker on the beach at Newcastle, fer one) and we were all told to stay indoors. For me, with some brand new pjs and a Doctor Who marathon on the telly (thank you, UKTV), and the bulk of the shopping done, well, I had no problem with Arthur Denting it, big time.
Much the same planned for today (power is still a bit bloopy so if I drop off I'll stay off) mainly because it's fekin' freezin'. Okay, not cold by Scotland in the Spring standards at all, but cold enough for me, and weirdly much colder now than when I went down for milk/bread/papers at 7am this morning). Gorgeous piles of autumn leaves all dumped in swirled heaps at the bottom of the lane (which reverted to its true form as creek for the duration - so glad I had the groceries delivered on Friday).
Anyhoo, onto the flist, then it's lunch and twelve hours of Tenner, though loyaties will be tested this evening when it gets round to Robin Hood/Life on Mars time. Battle of thee BBC boys (and cue Devo's Freedom of Choice).
