Changi, to be precise, which is a tad evocative so close to ANZAC Day, but never mind. Just back from a minor shopping expedition. They have a free shuttle bus into the city and I thought I'd see what Singapore had to offer. Alas, not much in the way of new. It looks like Brisbane, all Meriton, and the first shops I saw were Hungry Jacks, Starbucks, McDonalds, Burger King and KFC. But I did a blockie and found Market A which was very Cabramatta/Paddys and Market B which was very Dixon St. I went Market B and found a cheap wrap that were $20 at the airport but he was selling them for $9. Nine!, I squeaked, so he scowled and knocked it down to $8. Sold! (Redundancy be damned). Also picked up lucky charm and phone dangley. And had an excellent coconut juice (just like in Strahfield, only fresher). Could have been in Strathfield, but never mind.
