I always thought 2009 was the best ever, just because I was noodling around London by myself and just having fun (the infamous duck wrap from Pret notwithstanding), and it was warm and sunny, but yeah, this was definitely gold plated fun with a definite wow factor.
I forgot to mention the plots of the plays, but none of them had a happy ending, so it was in keeping with my usual fare - grin.
